What you'll be doing: Act as the on-site quality representative at the contract manufacturer (CM), overseeing end-to-end quality processes for interconnect optical transceivers and CPO (Co Packaged Optics) sub assemblies – from incoming inspection to line process control and final assembly Monitor and enforce manufacturing quality standards, including ESD controls, line setup, line audits and process adherence; identify and escalate quality risks proactively Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by assisting in product bring-up, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams across global locations Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (5D/8D reports) for quality incidents and support continuous improvement efforts at the CM site Collaborate closely with NVIDIA engineering, NPI, supplier quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure product reliability and successful ramp to production What we need to see: 5–7 years of hands-on experience in quality, process, or NPI engineering roles, preferably in high-tech manufacturing or optoelectronic components Bachelor’s degree (and above) in Mechanical, Materials, Process, or Quality Engineering (or related technical field) Strong knowledge of quality control tools and methodologies (SPC, 5D/8D, FMEA, root cause analysis) Experience working closely with contract manufacturers (CMs), including on-site support and line audits Solid understanding of manufacturing process controls, material handling, ESD standards, and product assembly flows Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, communicate effectively with remote engineering teams – excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Comfortable working in an intense, fast-paced environment with multiple projects and shifting priorities NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
