Senior Network Security Engineer, Palo Alto
Job Description: • Stay current with the Palo Alto Networks technology portfolio and industry trends. • Perform advanced troubleshooting and provide escalation support for complex network security issues. • Manage and execute migration projects from legacy firewall platforms (e.g., Cisco ASA, Check Point) to Palo Alto Networks. • Act as the primary technical expert for Palo Alto Networks products (Strata, Prisma, Cortex). • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop compelling security solutions. Requirements: • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (Panorama, Security Policies, App-ID, User-ID, Threat Prevention). • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL-VPN), and security concepts (Zero Trust, Firewalls, IDS/IPS). • Hands-on experience with Prisma Access (SASE) and/or Prisma Cloud is a significant advantage. • Experience with Cortex XDR or other endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms is a plus. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
