Senior .NET Developer (Mobile & Web API)

Salary: $72,000 - 112,000 per year

Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience plus 8+ years of software development using the .NET Framework.
• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in developing APIs for mobile and/or enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in backend mobile API development, including C#, XML, WebAPI, JSON, .NET 3.5 and later, .NET Core, MVC, SSL/TLS, IIS, SQL Server, and familiarity with middleware and enterprise API management tools.
• Experience interfacing with back-end applications through web services like WCF or Web API, MQ, SOAP, RESTful services, and expertise in SOA design and technical implementations.
• Knowledgeable in both on-premise and cloud-based PaaS/IaaS providers (e.g., Rackspace, Azure, AWS) and working with virtualized systems, including application servers, databases, and networking.
• Expertise in enterprise service-oriented architecture and principles of non-relational and relational database design.
• Strong understanding of mobile security protocols, analytics, and social media integrations (SDKs).
• Familiarity with API gateways and OWASP security principles, OAuth, and related backend services.
• Proven DevOps experience, Test Driven Development, use of mocking frameworks, dependency injection, and a willingness to contribute to test automation development.
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Eager to learn and adopt new technologies and concepts.
• Driven, curious, and ready to tackle challenging tasks.
• A sense of humor and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain high-quality web APIs to support mobile and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define technical requirements.
• Design and implement secure and scalable backend architecture for applications.
• Interface effectively with various back-end systems and third-party services.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of applications to ensure functionality and security standards are met.
• Manage deployment processes and contribute to DevOps practices.
• Support project management teams in Agile environments, attending sprints and meetings as necessary.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and team members.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve our technologies and methodologies.
