Qualifications:
ā¢ System Administrator - Middleware.
ā¢ WebSphere Application Server Management.
ā¢ Full installation, configuration, and administration of Network Deployment and Base editions.
ā¢ Design and implementation of high-availability architectures (clustering, load balancing, failover).
ā¢ Enterprise repository management for WebSphere and IHS binaries.
ā¢ Performance tuning, troubleshooting, and version migration strategies.
ā¢ Containerization & Liberty Expertise.
ā¢ Deployment and maintenance of WebSphere Liberty on traditional VMs.
ā¢ Support for containerized Liberty implementations using Podman.
ā¢ Orchestration of Liberty workloads in OpenShift Container Platform.
ā¢ Server configuration customization for diverse application requirements.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Deploys the release of new technologies as well as designs, installs, configures, maintains and performs system integration testing of PC/server operating systems, related utilities and hardware.
ā¢ Responsible for trouble shooting server problems as reported by users. Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products.
ā¢ Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment.
ā¢ Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth, installs new servers and maintains the server infrastructure.
