Senior Metadata Analyst

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $166,000 to $209,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position. In this role, you will: • Support data stewardship, governance capabilities, data strategy, and risk management. • Create, maintain, update, and police metadata and data profiling in enterprise applications such as ERP, PLM, etc. • Implement metadata taxonomy and ontology across the enterprise and support metadata distribution and usage. • Work closely with data stewards and IT teams to document business and technical metadata, update data models, and document data mapping and transformations. • Ensure quality and integrity of metadata and generate standard system reports to support high data quality. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of metadata strategy and standards, collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement solutions. • Deliver Master Data Dictionary and Enterprise Content Management Records Management, Taxonomy, Data standards, and practices frameworkQualifications • Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ experience in Data Management and Governance in a scaled organization, • Experience in the automotive / transportation industry, consulting, or a similar regulated industry • Understanding of data governance framework and industry best practices • Experience with industry enterprise applications in ERP and PLM space • Strong SQL, R, or Python and source-to-target mapping skills • Understanding of data models, data structures, different file formatsBonus Qualifications • Master's degree or MBA • Experience with SAP, 3DX, Teamcenter, or similar applications • Experience with data management toolsets such as IBM IGC, Talend Data Catalog, Talend Data Fabric, Collibra, MS Purview, etc. • Industry certifications and credentials, including EDM council, DCAM, DAMA, Lean Six Sigma, etc. • Experience in global regulatory compliance for laws such as CCPA, Nevada Privacy Act, GDPR, DOT, NHTSA, etc. Apply tot his job
