This position is responsible for building and presenting strategic and tactical media recommendations that are effective and impactful while making smart use of the client's budget. You will work closely with others across MissionOne Media and BarkleyOKRP client experience teams, and you will partner closely with clients. Responsibilities include: β€’ Develops strategic and tactical media recommendations for clients, recommending channels and tactics that will deliver upon client's objectives β€’ Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, including client experience, activation, data & analytics, CRM, strategy, and finance β€’ Build strategic media audiences through 3rd party syndicated audience tools (Nielsen, Mintel, Comscore, MediaTools, Commspoint, MRI-Simmons, YouGov Profiles) to develop audience recommendations and understand audience media consumption and behaviors. β€’ Use competitive intelligence tools to identify category white space and support media strategy β€’ Flawlessly manage client media budget, including the development of media flowcharts, sending flowchart updates, working with clients to secure budget approvals, and authorizing Activation teams to purchase. β€’ Support in client billing, including partnership with the Finance team to review draft invoices against anticipated spend, ensuring invoices line up with planned investment β€’ Crafting internal and external POVs based on trending topics impacting the media landscape, category or market trends, clearly articulating the impact to media recommendations. β€’ Participating in weekly status calls to keep clients updated on active media projects, and relaying important updates back to internal teams. Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field β€’ Minimum 3 years of media planning experience required β€’ Strong knowledge of both traditional & digital media channels is preferred, but not required β€’ Ability to think critically and apply a strategic approach to all plans or projects β€’ Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including Creative, Data & Measurement, Strategy, and Finance β€’ Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment as well as with outside media sales reps β€’ Displays a passion for media and advertising β€’ Strong organizational and mathematical skills (including basic media math) β€’ Ability to multi-task and deliver work on time for set deadlines β€’ Must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions Compensation The annual gross base salary range is $57,000- $71,000 USD. This range represents the anticipated target salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and geographic location. Salary is one component of BarkleyOKRP's total compensation package, which includes multiple health insurance options, flexible PTO, life insurance, and 401K.
