Senior Manager-University Relations

Verizon is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Senior Manager-University Relations to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity to lead a team and be the face of the company in our university relations program. As the Senior Manager-University Relations, you will have the opportunity to create and implement strategies to strengthen Verizon's presence on college and university campuses across the country.The ideal candidate for this role will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in university relations, marketing, or event management. You should have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work both independently and collaboratively, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You should have a proven track record of successfully managing university relations programs, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for developing relationships with students and faculty. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to strengthen Verizon's presence on college and university campuses Build relationships with students and faculty Manage university relations programs Negotiate contracts and agreements with colleges and universities Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote Verizon on campus Lead and coordinate events to engage students and faculty Maintain a strong knowledge of current trends in university relations and marketing Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of university relations strategies Manage budget and resources for university relations activities Develop relationships with key campus stakeholders and organizations Verizon is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
