About the Role: Crafting Compelling E-commerce Experiences The Senior Manager, Site Merchandising Operations, is a key position that oversees the development and execution of our e-commerce strategy across categories. You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end digital content, driving timely and high-quality content launches, and simplifying business processes. This role requires a unique blend of creative vision, technical acumen, and business savvy to advance our digital capabilities and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities: Driving Category Success Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and mobilize cohesive digital strategies for categories, partnering with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Product/Technology, Operations, and Item partners to drive category goals. Category Strategy: Collaborate with merchant leaders to prioritize experiences and initiatives that maximize category performance. Core Site Merchandising: Implement and optimize site merchandising strategies that focus on conversion, findability, guest engagement, and frictionless shopping. Content Strategy: Oversee the development of short- and long-term content strategies, ensuring alignment with overall channel strategies and driving revenue-generating, on-brand content. Analytics: Monitor and analyze data from multiple sources to optimize short-term performance and inform long-term strategies, providing in-depth reporting and insights to partner teams. Financial Results: Deliver financial goals (sales and profit) and objectives for the category. Team Leadership: Manage a team of direct reports, providing development, coaching, motivation, support, and feedback, while promoting key Target behaviors and championing diversity and inclusion. Cross-Functional Partnerships: Establish strong partnerships across Target, influencing and leveraging other teams to advance digital objectives. About You: The Ideal Candidate To excel in this role, you'll need: A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience. 8+ years of e-commerce experience, with a deep understanding of mass merchandising, retail, e-commerce, and multi-channel retailing. A strong entrepreneurial mindset, with a focus on revenue generation and business acumen. Both technical acumen and creative sensibility, with the ability to balance vision with business process skills. Demonstrated experience in strategic and cross-functional influence, planning, and execution. High initiative and organization, with the ability to manage ambiguity, risk, uncertainty, and changing directions. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial and business metrics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to varying levels of leadership. As a Hybrid team member, you'll have the flexibility to work either remotely or onsite at a Target location, depending on the needs of your role and team.
