Together.About the PositionWe’re looking for a Sr. Manager of Growth Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and grow our network of partners, funders, and members. We need you to lead efforts to grow and diversify Murmuration’s network by helping us build more relationships across influential communities and changemakers while helping more organizations find us, understand our value, and start using our tools and research to support their work. In this role, you will be a member of the External Affairs Team, which is responsible for fundraising, marketing, communications, and internal communications efforts. You will work closely with product, partnerships, and research teams to shape product marketing strategies, and you’ll work within a small-but-mighty External Affairs team to bring those strategies to life across channels. You’ll be hands-on with product communications, marketing campaigns, research distribution, and more.If you’re a creative, strategic marketing leader with experience working across product, brand, and communications — and you’re excited about using your skills to support organizations working to build stronger, more engaged communities — we’d love to hear from you.Job Level: M4What You’ll DoDevelop and implement comprehensive growth marketing strategies for Murmuration’s products, research, and growth;Collaborate with product, research, and partnerships teams to craft clear, compelling messaging for tools, data, research findings, and network growth, ensuring consistency across materials and channels;Manage and mentor a small-but-mighty team of marketing, providing clear direction, support, and opportunities for growth;Lead the development of multi-channel growth campaigns (digital, paid, events, email, sponsorships, etc.) to promote Murmuration’s products, research and contribute to the growth of Murmuration’s network, partnership community, and lines of revenue;Develop and deliver compelling product positioning, messaging, and content for priority impact communities;Conduct market research to understand the needs of potential and existing users, helping to shape product messaging and positioning;Track and report on key marketing performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, funnel performance, and retention; andCollaborate with external consultants, agencies, and vendors when needed to support marketing and communications goals.Requirements7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role;Demonstrated experience developing and implementing marketing strategies for products, tools, or technology platforms;Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate technical and research content into clear, compelling, audience friendly materials;Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, events, email, and earned media;Proven experience managing teams with a track record of mentoring and developing talent;Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines;Experience building and maintaining brand identity and messaging guidelines;Comfort working in cross-functional environments, collaborating closely with product, research, and partnerships teams; andA collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to advancing Murmuration’s mission.Nice to HavesExperience or knowledge of the civic technology, political technology, or non-profit advocacy space;Background working on political campaigns, in advocacy organizations, or in community organizing efforts;Experience marketing B2B SaaS or data-driven products;Familiarity with voter data, analytics, academic research, political CRMs, or research tools; and/orExperience working in mission-driven organizations.Talented people come from all walks of life and career.
