We're now seeking an exceptional Senior Manager of Environmental Remediation to join our team and lead our CERCLA and RCRA corrective actions, hazardous waste treatment, and real property development projects. About the Role This is a fully remote opportunity to lead our environmental remediation projects, with the possibility of hybrid or on-site work based in Sacramento, CA. As a Senior Manager of Environmental Remediation, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance, regulatory negotiations, and financial assurance obligations across a diverse portfolio of sites. Key Responsibilities Manage environmental remediation projects from investigation to execution, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and company objectives. Craft long-term solutions for environmental and property assessments to mitigate risks and safeguard company assets. Oversee compliance, regulatory negotiations, and financial assurance obligations across a diverse portfolio of sites. Lead CERCLA and RCRA corrective actions, hazardous waste treatment, and real property development projects. Develop and implement strategies to address environmental remediation challenges and ensure project deliverables are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to environmental remediation. Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and industry best practices to inform project decisions. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College/University in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline. 12 or more years of Environmental management experience, including Sarbanes-Oxley reporting. Demonstrated success managing multi-media environmental remediation programs. Authorization to work for any employer in the United States (sponsorship is not available). Preferred Competencies While not required, the following competencies are highly desirable: Professional Certification (REM, CEM, CEP, CPEA, EIT, etc.) from a nationally recognized organization. MBA or Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline. Skills and Competencies Required for Success To excel in this role, you will need: Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. A deep understanding of environmental regulations, including CERCLA and RCRA. The ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions. A commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.
