About the position The Senior Manager Clinical Health Services at CVS Health plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing clinical team processes within Aetna Better Health of Virginia. This position is responsible for the organization and development of high-performing teams, ensuring effective care management and coordination activities across the continuum of care. The Senior Manager will work remotely and must reside in Virginia, reporting directly to the Sr Principal Clinical Leader. Responsibilities • Oversee and manage clinical team processes to ensure high performance. • Ensure effective functioning of care management and care coordination activities. • Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate care services. • Develop and support clinical team members in their roles. • Communicate effectively with members who have complex medical or social needs. Requirements • Active unrestricted Virginia State License in applicable functional area (RN or BH). • 5+ years in clinical area of expertise. • 2+ years supervisory/managerial experience. • 3+ years care management experience. • 3+ years of experience with personal computer, keyboard navigation, and MS Office Suite applications. • Experience working in health care delivery systems (electronic documentation platform). • Ability to travel for state-required meetings and trainings (up to 20% travel estimated). Nice-to-haves • Medicaid experience - LTSS highly preferred. • Knowledge of regulations, standards, and policies related to medical management. • Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification.
