This role will be responsible for the evaluation and risk management processes. This role will execute and complete cyber and information security evaluations from intake through risk remediation and will provide a clear career path to more senior manager positions.ResponsibilitiesLead the risk management assurance teamEnsure workload balance across the teamSupport career growth of team membersPresent metrics and reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholdersIdentify areas of process improvementWork directly with Business Owners and key stakeholders on at-risk third-party evaluationsConducting cyber and information security evaluations on AbbVie third partiesAnalyzing cyber and information security controls in relations to AbbVie expectations and requirementsBe the escalation point for the teamThoroughly document work and present findings to managementTrack identified risk to completion, including validation of remediation effortsAdhering to cyber security processes, procedures and other documentation while performing analyst dutiesQualificationsBachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience OR Master’s Degree and 7 years of experience or PHD and 2 years of experienceBasic understanding of security controls, concepts, and frameworks (e.g. ISO, NIST, ect)Ability to communicate complex technical security practices to non-technical resourcesFamiliarity with cyber security terminology and concepts, and basic understanding of the cyber threat landscape and attack vectorsCapable of learning new concepts and processes quickly, and adapting to a constantly changing environmentDemonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skillsStrong organization skills with attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalismAbility to work independently and effectively as part of a teamAdditional InformationApplicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: ​The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
