Airbnb is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Community Policy to lead the development of principled policies that foster trust and safety across our global community. As a key member of our Community Policy team, you will play a critical role in addressing complex Trust & Safety challenges, including fraud, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to create accessible policy enforcement guidance.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

Develop and evolve community policies that promote trust, safety, and reliability across Airbnb's platform
Guide policy operationalization efforts in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product, Operations, Trust, Finance, Public Policy, Legal, and Communications
Collaborate with internal business verticals to understand strategic objectives and deliver policy solutions that enable business goals
Use data, research, and insights to evaluate and revise policies as needed
Foster, build, and maintain relationships with leadership of internal business verticals


About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

10-15 years of experience in a Policy, Legal, or Trust and Safety role, with prior leadership on fraud issues in an international environment
Exceptional writing abilities and strong communication skills
Ability to explain and simplify complex information to others
A track record of strong leadership and an ability to independently manage a portfolio of challenging issues
Strong cross-functional problem-solving capabilities and a strategic mindset


What We Offer
