This can be a remote position (must be located in the United States).Position SummaryThe Cloud Services Senior Manager at Coalfire plays a crucial role in driving the organization’s business and practice direction. They possess strong communication skills, technical writing abilities, and expertise in cloud architecture, project management, marketing, and sales support. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships and actively managing project progress and resources. Additionally, they coordinate go-to-market strategies for new services and play a vital role in shaping the overall direction and success of the practice. People management, mentorship, recruiting, and training are also key responsibilities, ensuring the development and growth of both the team and the practice as a whole.What You'll DoServe as engagement lead on professional services projects and propose/review technical solutions architectManage multiple team tracks of consultants/specialists/delivery and serve as front line escalation pointAllocate resources, such as personnel and budgets, appropriatelyBuild and maintain strong long-term relationships with key client stakeholdersTrack and understand clients' evolving needs – articulate project risks and status via client presentationsReview delivery of the teams you’ll oversee against quality standards and risk management frameworksSupport thought leadership activities in the areas of market innovation, brand positioning, customer experience, and/or cost efficiencyProvide mentorship to support career pathing, performance reviews, and professional development of direct reporteesTravel required up to 25%. What You'll BringBS or above in related Information Technology Consulting field or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience managing teams of 4-8 individualsBackground of working in technical organizations focusing on DevOps, operations, and delivery managementConversational knowledge of orchestration and automation tools such as Terraform and AnsibleExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsEffective documentation skills, to include technical diagrams and written descriptionsProfessional attitude and demeanor3-5 years directly leading client engagements on at least one of the following cloud IaaS providers: AWS, Azure, GCPStrong project management backgroundCritical thinking, and ability to balance security requirements with mission needsExampled relationship management and ability to work with C-SuiteProject management experience for individual and team projects (ability to track detailed tasks and ensure timely delivery)Ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environmentPrevious experience mentoring or managing consultants in a professional services organizationBonus PointsPrevious experience mentoring or managing consultants in a professional services organizationCloud-based networking experience (Palo Alto, Cisco ASAv, etc.…)Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, etc.PMP, CISSP, CISM, or CISAFamiliarity with configuration baseline standards such as CIS Benchmarks & DISA STIGExperience with MS Project and VisioWhy You'll Want to Join UsAt Coalfire, you’ll find the support you need to thrive personally and professionally. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role is $94,000 to $163,000 based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
