As a Senior Manager - Clinical Data Management, you'll play a vital role in advancing our mission by ensuring the timely and quality delivery of clinical data management components across our portfolio. About the Role In this hybrid role, you'll have the flexibility to work remotely while also collaborating with our teams in our office. As a Senior Manager - Clinical Data Management, you'll be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals to deliver high-quality data management services across multiple projects and products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Functional Service Providers (FSPs), to drive success and achieve results through effective partnership, performance management, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of Global Study Operations - Data Management (GSO-DM) activities for various therapeutic area products, projects, vendors, or services, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive portfolio management, risk management, resource management, and quality management. Provide mentorship and leadership to staff, promoting best practices and consistency across programs. Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive forward initiatives to enhance performance measures. Cultivate and maintain effective partnerships with internal stakeholders, FSPs, and external vendors. Stay abreast of industry developments in data management and apply knowledge to improve systems and processes. Contribute to the development and implementation of DM and GSO strategies, policies, and procedures. Lead and/or participate in cross-functional projects and working groups, providing technical and business process expertise. What We Expect of You We're looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in clinical data management. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical, business, and leadership skills. Basic Qualifications Doctorate degree and 2 years of clinical data experience OR Master's degree and 4 years of clinical data experience OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of clinical data experience OR Associate's degree and 10 years of clinical data experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of clinical data experience Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent in life science, computer science, business administration, or a related subject area. 10+ years of experience in data management in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. 3+ years of experience in a global organization. Previous experience at or oversight of outside clinical research vendors (CROs, central labs, imaging vendors, etc.).
