Senior Manager, Category Leadership Advisor - Driving Business Growth with Walmart

About the Role This is a remote-based position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while maintaining a strong connection with our global team. As a Senior Manager, Category Leadership Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing customer-centric guidance to Walmart, ensuring that Coca-Cola remains an objective category consultant. Your expertise will help us uncover new business opportunities, drive category sales, and grow our customer's market share. Key Responsibilities Strengthen Category Advisory Relationship: Support and enhance the existing Category Advisory relationship with Walmart beverage buyers and support team. Category Expertise: Provide beverage category expertise through engaging dialogue, data analytics, and workflow management with Walmart. Next-Generation Business Intelligence: Create, automate, and disseminate innovative business intelligence and weekly reports to inform Walmart's business decisions. Actionable Recommendations: Develop processes and tools to identify and deliver fact-based category recommendations that drive business growth. Collaboration: Work closely with Shopper Insights and Space Management teams to develop valuable category recommendations. Proprietary Tools and Resources: Manage and utilize Coca-Cola's proprietary tools and resources to achieve broader analysis of business and category trends. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Experience creating disruptive innovation that streamlines processes and allows for focus on high-priority tasks. Proven expertise in leveraging diverse data sources to craft compelling, fact-based narratives and actionable category recommendations. A history of innovation and continuous improvement in advanced analytics. Expertise in Walmart Luminate (Channel Performance and Shopper Behavior). Experience with data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and advanced analytical tools like Alteryx. Expert-level capability in JDA Space Planning, with JDA Planogram Generator experience preferred, or aptitude in Visual Studio, SQL, etc. programming. Significant experience with syndicated data sources (Nielsen, Numerator, etc.). Minimum 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Sales, or related CPG role. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experience will be a significant advantage: Aptitude in programming languages like Visual Studio, SQL, etc. Experience with emerging technologies and trends in category management.
