Senior Manager - BSA/AML Governance & Advisory

Synovus is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented professional to join our team as Senior Manager - BSA/AML Governance & Advisory. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your extensive knowledge and experience with BSA/AML compliance and governance by leading a team of professionals to design and implement a comprehensive compliance program.To be successful in this position, you must possess an in-depth understanding of BSA/AML regulations, the ability to develop and implement effective policies and procedures, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent project management abilities. Responsibilities: Lead a team of professionals to design and implement a comprehensive BSA/AML compliance program Ensure compliance with applicable BSA/AML regulations Develop and implement effective policies and procedures Analyze and solve complex BSA/AML compliance issues Manage BSA/AML projects to ensure timely completion Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the BSA/AML compliance program Proactively identify potential compliance issues and develop solutions Conduct regular training for staff on BSA/AML regulations and procedures Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and industry best practices Synovus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
