Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights

Rain is the fastest-growing startup in the category and was incubated with QED Capital, a top fintech venture fund.As Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights, you will be responsible for producing reporting, analytics, and insights to lead and support strategic initiatives and cross-functional teams. You will be a trusted expert who understands the data sources available and how they impact our products and business, and that is able to transform raw data into actionable insights. You will deliver analyses, insights, tools, and dashboards that help provide decision-making support, improve operational efficiency, and enable growth.You will be reporting to the Head of Analytics & Insights with the option to work remotely or in-person in our downtown Nashville office.Key Responsibilities:Generate analytics & insights to:Improve the experience of our customers and support agents,Proactively identify bugs or issues within Operations and Product,Support strategic business decisions, andIdentify growth opportunitiesMaintain a deep understanding of Rain’s data sources, warehouse, and reporting tools and how they drive Rain’s Product and OperationsEducate diverse stakeholders on how to access and utilize the data available to them through training, walkthroughs, and written documentationBuild and implement processes, tools, and dashboards to empower a variety of internal Operations stakeholders to perform optimallyDrive operational efficiency through proactive issue identification, continuous improvement, and development of new tools and processesEnable test and learn culture by designing and implementing tests in collaboration with our Data Engineering, Product, and Growth teamsCollaborate with the Data Engineering team on Data Products, Projects and StrategySupport operational goal-setting and reporting across the Operations organizationAssist in prioritizing competing data needs and charting reporting strategy across teamsQualifications:5+ years experience in strategy, analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, or within a similar roleExcellence in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, PowerBI, Tableau)Excellence in insight delivery and presentation tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Slides)Ability to write and edit SQL queriesStrong project management and ability to coordinate across teams to executeEffective working both independently and collaboratively with the willingness contribute in whatever capacity is needed to deliver a successful outcomeComfortable with ambiguity and making decisions in environments where there is not a single clear answerAbility to discern patterns and insights in data, identify next steps, and drive actionsExcellent interpersonal skills. Compensation:$150,000- $175,000Note this is a range and we take in a variety of factors when determining total compensation for the position.
