About the Role As a Senior Loan IQ Developer, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading development initiatives on the Loan IQ platform, collaborating with business stakeholders, and designing efficient, reusable, and testable modules and components. Your expertise in Loan IQ implementations, upgrades, and migrations will be instrumental in driving critical strategic projects and user-requested enhancements. Key Responsibilities Lead Development Initiatives: Spearhead development projects on the Loan IQ platform, focusing on critical strategic initiatives and user-requested enhancements. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to facilitate user demonstrations, refine the development lifecycle, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Design and Implement Efficient Solutions: Design and implement efficient, reusable, and testable modules and components, leveraging your in-depth understanding of platforms, databases, APIs, caching layers, proxies, and other associated web services. Hands-on Development and DevOps: Apply your hands-on development and DevOps expertise to create impactful client/server, multi-tier, and web-based applications. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously update your knowledge and skills to stay abreast of the latest developments in financial technology and Loan IQ. Essential Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, you should possess: In-depth Knowledge of Finastra Loan IQ: Proven experience in Loan IQ implementations, upgrades, and migrations, with a strong understanding of the platform's data model and components. Technical Expertise: Advanced skills in SQL and PL/SQL, Core Java, REST services, Spring Boot, and familiarity with proprietary frameworks. Leadership Experience: Leadership experience in managing development or migration teams, comprising five or more members. Agile Development Practices: Understanding of Agile development practices and methodologies. Accounting Principles: Basic knowledge of accounting principles, accruals, and payments. Loan IQ Scripted APIs and Batch Framework: Experience with Loan IQ scripted APIs, the Loan IQ Batch framework, and remote operations. Operating Systems: Familiarity with operating systems such as RHEL and Windows. Event Manager and Messaging Systems: Skills in configuring and setting up Event Manager, and experience with messaging systems like Kafka, Tibco, IBM MQ, or similar technologies. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are considered assets: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Field: A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred. Master's Degree or MBA: A Master's degree or MBA is considered an asset, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills.
