Position: Senior Lead Web Developer with Optimizely CM Location: Remote Duration: 6 months to start Position Summary : We are looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer to lead the development of enterprise-level web applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of web architecture and development best practices. The successful candidate will act as a Development Lead, guiding a team of developers while contributing hands-on to the design, development, and deployment of solutions. The need is a full stack guy with front end and backend skills, primarily Optimizely PaaS CMS experience is mandate. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. Serve as a Dev Lead, mentoring junior and intermediate developers and overseeing code quality and development standards. Architect and implement solutions using Optimizely PaaS CMS Configure and manage Azure Cloud deployment pipelines and Azure hosted applications. Manage IIS configurations for application deployment, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, security, and accessibility. Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive continuous improvement. Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend strategic improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of professional experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role. Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular). Strong experience with server-side development using C#, ASP.NET, or similar technologies. Deep familiarity with Optimizely PaaS CMS, including customization, workflows, and integrations. Solid understanding of IIS, including site setup, application pools, security configurations, and performance optimization. Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integrations. Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
