We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience across PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, SQL, and modern development practices. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in collaborative environments, reviewing code, and applying best practices for high-quality software delivery. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems and APIs using PHP and Laravel frameworks Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth backend integration. Design, query, and optimize SQL databases to ensure efficient data management. Utilize Git for version control, branching, and collaborative development. Work with AWS services, leveraging certifications or practical cloud experience. Apply BDD/TDD methodologies, using appropriate testing tools to ensure code quality. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers. Receive and incorporate feedback on your own code from team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions. Requirements Proven experience in PHP development, including responding to PHP-related technical challenges. Hands-on experience with Laravel, including troubleshooting and best practice implementation. Understanding of JavaScript for backend integration purposes. Solid understanding of SQL database design and optimization. Familiarity with Git workflows and best practices. Certification or demonstrable experience with the AWS ecosystem. Experience working in BDD/TDD environments, with knowledge of relevant tools.
