Senior JIRA Administrator/Developer

We are seeking an experienced JIRA Administrator/Developer with over 9 years of experience to manage, configure, and develop our JIRA environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in JIRA administration, including workflow customization, plugin development, and integration with other tools. This role demands a proactive individual who can manage complex projects, troubleshoot issues, and implement efficient solutions to improve our JIRA system.**Key Responsibilities:****JIRA Administration:**- Administer and support JIRA Software and JIRA Service Management platforms.- Perform JIRA installations, upgrades, and patches.- Manage user permissions, roles, and access controls.- Configure and maintain JIRA projects, workflows, screens, fields, and issue types.. **Development & Customization:**- Develop custom JIRA plugins and scripts to enhance functionality.- Customize JIRA workflows, schemes, and templates to meet business requirements.- Create and manage custom dashboards and reports.- Integrate JIRA with other tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and third-party applications.**Qualifications:**- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 9+ years of experience in JIRA administration and development.- Proficiency in JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, and Confluence.- Strong knowledge of JIRA APIs and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python, JavaScript).- Experience with JIRA plugin development and customization.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.**Preferred Qualifications:**- Experience with cloud-based JIRA solutions.- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).- Experience in managing large-scale JIRA environments
