Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with Angular (Remote)
About the position Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified full stack developer with experience in Java Springboot and Angular, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code. • Ensure software is updated with the latest features and security patches. • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality. • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development processes. Requirements • Possess strong technical skills in SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL. • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities. • Show proficiency in writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code. • Have a solid understanding of software development principles and practices. • Display a proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies.
