Role: Senior Java Developer (Java 11, Spring Boot and React)
Experience: Minimum 7 to 10 years of solid experience.
Job Location: Candidates need to be willing to work in an On-site model from the Client’s office in The Colony – TX and/or Remote

Responsibilities
• Participate in business and functional requirement gatherings by understanding constantly changing healthcare business needs.
• Develop applications, interfaces and tools by producing clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient code by using Cognizant and client established best practice methods.
• Design cost effective applications and interfaces to fulfill complex objects of UHG project.
• Writes and verifies code which adheres to the acceptance criteria for the agile features.
• Automate unit testing tasks through appropriate testing frameworks.
• Perform application security testing and static code analysis using sonar to identify and fix security vulnerabilities in the UHG applications.
Work Authorization: Cognizant will only consider applicants who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until July 25th, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 – $93,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
