Senior Integration Tester REMOTE

Phone/Skype Hire. REMOTE Location: REMOTE Duration: 12+ months Seek to contract aSenior Integration Tester that will be responsible for Software Quality Assurance tasks including defining test approach and scenarios for UI, API and integration points, building detailed test cases and executing test cases for all applicable test cycles, like system, regression, sanity testing, reporting defects, resolving defects in collaboration with development and support teams. Senior Integration Tester is also expected to work under direction of the test leads and provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to other QA team members.Responsibilities Design and develop test plans for testing the APIs, microservices and their configurations that have been built for this project. Develop integration tests to cover the automated testing of API applications within a cloud environment. Create clear, well-documented and modular automation test suites. Ensure that components are tested as per design documents and test results are captured in AzDO Testplans. Develop and configure bolthires/CD/CT automation processes to ensure rapid automation testing of API applications.Promote an environment that supports collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Establish and maintain strong relationships with our clients, team members, and other OTI teams Skills Needed • 10+ years of experience in planning and executing end-to-end test process for complex enterprise solutions. • Automated script development using Selenium WebDriver and Java for API, desktop, or mobile browsers. • Experience with testing SOA (web services, API) based functionality using SoapUI, PostMan or similar tool.• Experience in analyzing business requirements and covering them with test cases, tasks decomposition skills. • Experience with execution and tracking test process using popular specialized test management or application lifecycle (ALM) management tools like Azure DevOps or Quality Center • Understanding and experience in issue and defect tracking lifecycle • Experience with basics and specifics of functional testing of the both browser based UI as well as backend specifics of the functional testing of the APIs and integration technologies.• Experience in performing functional and non-functional testing for mobile applications running on various operating systems like iOS, Android, native and mobile responsive. • General understanding of the purpose and applicability of the test automation and the popular test automation tools • Experience with functional integration testing. • Understanding of various data file formats (flat, csv, XML, JSON, Excel files, etc.) and experience with tools to handle them for testing purposes. • Understanding of n-tier application architecture and service-oriented architecture (SOA) • Understanding of relational databases concept • Ability to design SQL query and use SQL queries for QA tasks.• Strong verbal skills to communicate with non-technical resources. • Strong issue resolution and investigation skills • Ability to see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance. • Ability to articulate and document the steps taken to resolve an issue. • Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources. • Experience with GIT, Azure DevOps pipelines, or equivalent bolthires/CD tools. • Ability to read requirements/user using Cucumber/Gherkin format and language. • Understanding testing specifics of the "native" vs "mobile friendly" applications on mobile devices • Experience automated data validation.• Content management systems and their workflows (Adobe Experience Manager or TeamSite knowledge and experience is preferable) Apply tot his job
