Senior Insurance Risk Management Associate
New York City Area, Remote (East Coast)
Salary to $150K plus bonus plus benefits
Our client is an insurance services firm, who are now expanding their NJ office and now searching for an experienced risk management professional, who could have an interest to assist in driving the growth of the business.
Duties Include:
ā¢ Monitor investigations, reviewing insurance policies, analysis of statistical data related to providing all aspects of compliance or risk management for commercial lines, contract reviews, marketing, underwriting, audits, new coverage initiatives, underwriting issues, broker liaison, improving internal policies and procedures as well as presenting to smaller groups of professionals
ā¢ Manage national clients related to property and casualty and liaising with brokers
ā¢ Manage risk management process from start to finish
ā¢ Troubleshoot all settlements, fraud, subrogation, liens and resolutions related risk
ā¢ Assist with implementation of new policies and procedures for clients
ā¢ Work under little supervision
ā¢ Manage target budgets and minimizing risk of financial loss to the company.
Candidate Should Possess:
ā¢ At least 8 years+ of property and casualty insurance sector and must have had solid experience in real estate, property or healthcare, working for a broker, consulting or law firm
ā¢ CPCU or ARM certification strongly preferred (LLM helpful)
ā¢ Strong written and verbal skills with above average computer skills
ā¢ Comfortable to work in a smaller team-oriented environment
ā¢ Familiarity with Hebrew or related, helpful
ā¢ Strong adherence to new policies and procedures directed by senior management
ā¢ Preference for the person to be based on the east coast (EST).
