Senior HR Engineer - Remote Opportunity ($27/hour)
Join our dynamic team at Employelevate as a Senior HR Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical strategy and implementation of Wayfair's global loyalty, payments, financing, and fraud platform. As a key member of our team, you will empower a cross-functional team across engineering, product management, design, and analytics to deliver a world-class global platform that provides a seamless transaction experience for our customers and suppliers.
Wayfair is seeking an experienced HR Engineer to own the technical strategy and implementation of our global platform, which spans across all our retail brands (Wayfair, Perigold, Allmodern, Joss & Main, Birch Lane) and geographies (currently 5 countries, with plans to expand to 15+ in the coming years). With a projected $12 billion in net revenue by 2022, and a total addressable market of $800+ billion, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop a critical domain platform with multiple systems, both inside and outside Wayfair
Develop and manage multi-year technological strategies for Wayfair's tech and ecosystem
Architect and evaluate code to ensure quality, scalability, and efficiency
Technically lead and contribute to the development of a stable, documented, and concrete platform
Focus on team willingness, including testing, monitoring, deployment, documentation, and continuous improvement
Identify technical risks and propose solutions to meet the department's technical vision
Influence and contribute to the department's strategy and technological direction
Requirements:
3+ years of technical experience, with a mix of start-up and large company experience
Experience with payment engineers, domain experts, and larger aggregations (credit cards, financing, BNPL)
Technological experience in e-commerce or customer-facing platforms
Experience with software development in a high-growth environment
Experience with cloud-based technology and architecture
Excellent communication skills, with experience in managing research and influencing stakeholders
Technological Requirements:
Exposure to cloud-native technology (GCP, AWS, Azure) on a large scale
Distributed systems and data-based technology
