Senior HR Engineer - Remote Opportunity
Join our dynamic team at Wayfair as a Senior HR Engineer, where you will own the technical strategy and implementation of our global loyalty, payments, financing, and fraud platform. As a key member of our team, you will empower a cross-functional team across engineering, product management, design, and analytics to provide a world-class global platform for our customers and suppliers.
We are seeking an experienced HR Engineer to lead the development and management of multi-annual technological strategies for Wayfair's payment platform. You will serve as the technical front design of a critical domain, creating a platform with different systems inside and outside Wayfair. Your expertise will be crucial in architecting and evaluating code to enforce quality, services, and strategy, as well as identifying risks and proposing solutions to meet the technical vision of the department.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop a critical domain platform with multiple systems
Lead the development and management of multi-annual technological strategies
Architect and evaluate code to enforce quality and strategy
Identify risks and propose solutions to meet the technical vision of the department
Influence and contribute to the department's strategy
Support and develop additional opportunities for education and growth
Requirements:
3+ years of technical experience, with a mix of start-up and large company experience
Experience with payment engineers and domain experts, especially with larger aggregations (credit cards, financing, etc.)
Technological experience with electronic trading or customer-facing applications
Experience with software development in a high-growth environment
Experience with architecture and creating large cloud-based technologies
Excellent communication skills and experience managing research and influencing consequences
Technological Requirements:
Exposure to cloud-native technology (GCP, AWS, Azure) on a large scale
Distributed systems and data-based technology
