Job Overview We're on the hunt for a talented and experienced Help Desk and MAC Engineer to provide top-tier support for our clients. As a Senior Help Desk and MAC Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding technical support for MAC and Windows environments, both remotely and onsite. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide phone support and remote remediation for workstation issues, troubleshooting and resolving customer system problems across a broad range of technologies. Software Installations: Conduct remote installations of new software and upgrades, as well as service packs and security updates. Onsite Support: Deliver onsite support and installations to clients when necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues. Help Desk Support: Provide exceptional help desk support, analyzing and resolving end-user issues in a timely and professional manner. Communication: Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring that technical information is conveyed in a clear and concise manner. Essential Qualifications: Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 1+ year of hands-on experience in MAC and PC support, with a strong focus on iMac and MacBook repairs, as well as OSX operating systems. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MAC and Windows operating systems, desktop applications, and a broad range of technologies. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Apple Certified Support Professional, are highly desirable. Preferred Qualifications: Cisco Phone Systems: Experience with Cisco Phone Systems is a plus. Additional Certifications: Holding additional certifications, such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA, is highly valued. Scripting and Automation: Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell, and automation tools is an asset.
