About the Role:
As a Senior Healthcare Economics Consultant, Physician, you will have the opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid environment, collaborating with internal business partners to provide custom analysis of proprietary and public data. Your expertise will support network development and managed care contracting efforts, and you will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and presenting findings to business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze competitive data and intel to identify reimbursement rates, structure, and trends
Develop and present findings to business partners, providing explanations and meaningful interpretations
Collaborate with team members to develop conclusions and create ad hoc analysis, reporting, and innovative solutions
Utilize business writing skills to clearly and concisely explain analysis findings
Develop best practice processes and results in a rapidly changing healthcare environment
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
2+ years of professional data analysis, interpretation, synthesis, and presentation experience
Physician contract negotiation or physician financial modeling experience
Intermediate or advanced level of expertise in MS Excel
Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Transparency in Coverage data
Experience analyzing and manipulating large sets of healthcare data
Knowledge of healthcare costs and quality topics
Microsoft SQL Server - SSRS/SSIS/SSMS, or PowerBI experience
