In this role, you will primarily focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing Workday HCM solutions to meet our business objectives, with a secondary emphasis on supporting payroll functions. This is a full-time role where you will be a key member of a dynamic team with an opportunity to work on challenging and exciting projects as we continue to grow our HR tech stack.You will partner across the People Team, the Finance and Payroll team, and other internal partners such as IT. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project tasks effectively, and ensure a smooth adoption to Workday while sharing knowledge and training junior team members. This role requires a continuous improvement and innovative mindset to identify, recommend, and improve current systems and processes, implement upgrades and enhancements, lead testing and data validation, and ensure that overall system performance is aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities / Duties: Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for both HCM and payroll solutions.Configure and customize Workday HCM modules, including Core HCMTalent Management, and CompensationEnsure HRIS compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies, including data security and confidentialityDesign and ensure appropriate level of data security and segregation of duties by defining security roles, access controls and permission sets with stakeholder collaborationSupport additional company functions such as Financial Management, Time Tracking, Analytics and Reporting, and Talent Management, providing expertise as neededCollaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancementsProvide expert guidance on best practices and industry standards related to HCM processesInfluence the adoption of the optimal approach at all levels and drive the seamless delivery of projects through strong project management capabilitiesDelegate tasks effectively within the project team, ensuring timely completion and accountabilityConduct system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation supportShare knowledge and provide training to team members and end-users to facilitate their understanding and use of WorkdayStay updated on Workday releases and new features, advising stakeholders and partners on potential impacts Who you are: 4+ years of Workday HCM experienceExperience implementing & supporting other WD functional areas - PayrollProficiency in Workday Studio is a significant advantageTroubleshooting and error diagnosisStrong knowledge of Workday modules and configurationProven experience in project management, client engagement, and team leadershipWorkday certification is highly preferred, prioritizing HCM functional areas: Benefits Management, Compensation Management, Learning & Development, Talent, and Performance Management Knowledge and Skills: Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical functions and processes clearly to non-technical stakeholdersEngagement: Strong ability to understand internal client & business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions within WorkdayAdaptability: Ability to work with varying priorities and changing deadlines while consistently meeting business objectivesAnalytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical solutionsCollaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering a spirit of knowledge sharing and supportProactive: Takes initiative and anticipates needs Additional Information ***PRO TIP***: Take your time and make sure you do a thorough job in completing your application.
