Job Type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract Location: Based in one of our offices in Edinburgh, London, Birmingham or Telford with hybrid working and expectation to travel when required. The roleThe role holder will be responsible for executing on the strategic plan for the category, develop sourcing strategies for allProfessional Services and Temporary Staffing Services, and manage related demand processes.They will manage a team of two Procurementprofessionals, overseeing the sourcing of services and the management of several key suppliers. This individual will be required to execute the category strategy, have exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to drive efficiency and value through strategic sourcing, commercial and supplier management. They will oversee the end-to-end process: sourcing, supplier management, commercial and contract negotiations, supplier management and bolthires optimisation to support the company’s objectives.What are we looking for? Excellent leadership and management skills with a proven track record of leading a team through change. Detailed knowledge of theProfessional Services and Temp Staffing market across all categories and sub-categories. Highly effective negotiating skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proven track record and demonstrable experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management with a focus on the financial services industry.Experience of leading the development and implementation of successful procurement strategies, driving bolthires savings, continuous improvement initiatives and risk management.
