Senior Gis Programmer | Resource Data Inc | United States...
As a Senior GIS Programmer with Resource Data, youll help design and develop geospatial data and geospatial solutions that elevates enterprise geospatial systems efficiency, performance, and value. Youll join a team of technical consultants to provide solutions for our clients most challenging enterprise geospatial problems. Youll leverage traditional .NET development skills combined with ArcGIS SDK and Rest API data pipelines to build integrated web mapping applications across major enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop GIS web applications, automated workflows, and databases
Integrate clients non-spatial applications with geospatial information
Evangelize the GIS practice to capitalize on growth opportunities within client teams
Assist project teams in writing accurate estimates, proposals, and architectural trade-offs
Collaborate with the GIS Community of Practice to mentor junior analysts, participate in technical working/learning sessions, and develop internal GIS initiatives
Basic Qualifications
5+ years experience with geospatial data management, development, and maintenance
2+ years experience developing custom software solutions with MS development stack (C#, .NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework)
Experience developing solutions in one or more of the following:
Esri Utility Pipeline Data Model
ArcGIS Enterprise Implementation, Upgrades and Maintenance
ArcGIS Map SDK for JavaScript
ArcGIS Map SDK for .NET
Experience working with ESRI suite of GIS products such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, or other GIS tools
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field
Experience designing and developing custom solutions in a client-facing role
Experience with GIS web mapping application design and development
