What You’ll Do
This role will serve as an experienced individual contributor and be assigned to a designated product. This role will partner closely with the team Engineering Lead to implement standards and best practices and work closely with team members to support the development of a cohesive user experience across web and mobile platforms.
Primary Expectations
Experience working in agile software development on a cross-functional team
Able to navigate ambiguous requirements and environments to support delivery
Support the development and communication of milestones and delivers upon their area of expertise
Actively participate in conversations and planning sessions with team members and stakeholders
Willingness to partner with senior practitioners, and be receptive to mentorship
Able to identify risks and communicate to leadership, provides recommendations to mitigate identified risks
Strong verbal and written communication skills directed at both technical and non-technical audiences as well as stakeholder engagement

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of engineering experience, demonstrating in-depth knowledge in at least one backend technology stack
At least 3 years experience working with React and Javascript
At least 1 year of experience working with Ruby on Rails
Demonstrate desire to learn new technologies and ability to adjust to work on any part of the stack
