With ownership over key product areas, you’ll help us scale from a powerful niche player into a global platform. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving setting and want to be part of a small team solving global challenges, 8returns is where you’ll make a real difference.✨ About You (musts)You have 3+ years of experience shipping production web apps with Rails and ReactYou’re a builder first you care more about delivering value than arguing about patternsYou’re comfortable jumping between frontend, backend, APIs, and data modelsYou’ve got strong product instincts, you think about UX, not just codeYou can handle ambiguity and tradeoffs without freaking outYou’re proactive, opinionated, and fast - you don’t wait to be told what to do Would be a strong plusExperience with Postgres, Heroku, AWSYou’ve worked in early-stage SaaS or marketplace toolsYou’ve played with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, LangChain, etc.) and see them as part of your workflow Key ResponsibilitiesShip new features end-to-end using Rails, React, and PostgresImprove performance, reliability, and developer experience across the stackOwn parts of the product and drive technical decisions.
