Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a Senior Data Entry Clerk, you will have the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S., working on challenging projects that require accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. Primary Responsibilities Responsible for data entry of material from source documents to a computer-connected terminal, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. May operate an alphabetical/numerical keypunch machine, verifying data and performing clerical tasks in the data processing function. Examines, revises, approves, and dispatches input and output materials according to established specifications, meeting productivity standards as outlined in client metrics. Identifies any issues or trends and brings them to the attention of the management team, working on special projects as assigned. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required, and limited judgment is necessary. Normally receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age or older. 1 year of data entry experience, with a strong understanding of data entry principles and practices. Experience with using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook, with the ability to create correspondence, work within templates, and manage email and calendars. Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, with occasional overtime or weekends as required. Preferred Qualifications 1 year of healthcare experience, with a strong understanding of healthcare principles and practices. Previous experience with utilizing EPIC, Cerner, or other hospital applications, with a strong understanding of medical billing or claims experience. Telecommuting Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need to: Have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Have a reliable high-speed internet connection, with the ability to receive a blithequark-approved internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service. Be able to keep all company-sensitive documents secure, with a strong understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
