What you’ll do Become part of a cross-functional product team called Poseidon working on the core components of the Make product. Design and develop innovative solutions, and build new product features. Improve existing code to enhance maintainability, performance, reliability, and resiliency of our systems. Write and maintain tests. Ship code to production. Automate repetitive work. Write and review RFCs and technical documentation. Review and give feedback on the work of others. Have fun at work :) The Poseidon team is responsible for the foundational elements of our platform, managing the core shared services related to user and organization management. This includes overseeing roles and permissions, handling all aspects of user authentication and authorization, from traditional logins to Single Sign-On (SSO), and ensuring seamless user provisioning. Our services are the essential building blocks that every other team and feature in the company relies on. Our Tech stack ⚙️ Back-end: JS/TS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch Front-end: JS/TS, Angular, React, Web Components, Canvas ☁️ Infra: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CI/CD: GitHub, CircleCI Monitoring: DataDog What we expect from you You have experience building and maintaining back-end services, understand the demands of running a service in production, and know how to ensure its health. You can contribute confidently to both the back-end and front-end of our app stack, even if you have a preference for one. You are familiar with common software and microservice design patterns and have applied them in your work. You produce readable, well-documented, and tested code. You can engage in informed technical discussions, backing your opinions with facts and data. Specifically, we are looking for the following qualifications: Proven experience in developing cloud services (5+ years) Hands-on experience with TypeScript on back-end and front-end Experience with Docker, software containerization and microservices architectures are more than welcome Experience with PostgreSQL, Angular and other particular technologies from our stack is beneficial Strong command of English, both verbal and written (we are an international team).
