Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable, secure, and comprehensive solutions for Apple Services, including cloud services and applications development Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and develop solutions that align with Apple's business strategy and goals Develop and maintain expertise in relevant areas, including Java, microservices architecture, event retrieval systems, and Kubernetes Communicate effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the team Participate in planning, design, implementation, and documentation of products and services Navigate ambiguity and make decisive decisions in complex technical environments Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience Experience with Java, building application servers, and Java APIs Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing microservices architecture Hands-on experience with event retrieval systems, such as Kafka Kubernetes expertise, with the ability to effectively manage containerized applications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders Proven ability to organize, plan, and deliver results in line with key milestones Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and product excellence Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud services and applications development Familiarity with Apple's ecosystem and services Strong understanding of security and data protection principles Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems Skills and Competencies Strong technical skills in Java, microservices architecture, and cloud services Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisive decisions Commitment to customer satisfaction and product excellence Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Apple, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
