Senior Full-Stack Developer (Node/NextJS) for 2 Projects (MySQL & Mongo + AWS)
Job Description: I am looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to take over the development and maintenance of two existing web applications. I am looking for a single freelancer to handle both projects simultaneously, with the potential for a long-term working relationship. The Situation: I have two functioning projects built with NodeJS and NextJS. I am the owner and technical enough to guide you through the architecture, but I need a hands-on developer to execute the code changes and manage the deployments. The Projects: Project A (Urgent - 1 Month): Adding specific new features to an existing app. Stack: NodeJS, NextJS, MySQL. Project B (Ongoing - 3 Months): Bug fixes, UI/UX updates, and general optimization. Stack: NodeJS, NextJS, MongoDB. Responsibilities: Review the existing codebases and get them running locally. Implement new features for Project A immediately. Perform bug fixes and UI updates for Project B. Deploy updates to our live servers. Communicate clearly regarding progress and technical blockers. Technical Requirements: Core Stack: Strong proficiency in NodeJS and NextJS (React) is non-negotiable. Databases: You must be comfortable working with both SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. DevOps/Hosting: Both apps are hosted on AWS EC2. You must be comfortable using the Linux command line to manage the server, restart processes (PM2), and debug logs. Version Control: Git/GitHub. Our Ideal Candidate: You are a "hybrid" developer who can switch between SQL and NoSQL environments. You are not afraid of a Linux terminal. You are available to start immediately on the urgent feature work.
