Senior Florida Family Law Paralegal (Remote – Part-Time)

Overview We are a Florida-based family law firm seeking a highly experienced Florida Family Law Paralegal to support our practice in a fully remote, part-time role. This position is reserved for senior-level paralegals with substantial experience handling Florida family law matters and reviewing filings for compliance with Florida procedural and substantive requirements. This role serves as a final review checkpoint before documents are filed with Florida courts. It is not an entry-level or training position. Responsibilities • Review all Florida family law documents prior to filing with the court, including: • Petitions, answers, and responsive pleadings • Motions, notices, and affidavits • Florida Family Law Financial Affidavits • Mandatory Disclosure (Rule 12.285) documents • Proposed orders and related filings • Ensure filings comply with: • Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure • Applicable local administrative orders • E-filing formatting and procedural requirements • Identify errors, omissions, inconsistencies, or compliance issues and clearly communicate required corrections • Proactively flag deadline, service, or procedural concerns before filing • Collaborate with attorneys and staff in a remote environment Qualifications • Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a paralegal in Florida family law matters • Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing filings for Florida Circuit Courts • Strong working knowledge of: • Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure • Mandatory disclosure requirements • Florida e-filing standards • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Reliable internet access and availability during agreed-upon working hours Application Requirements (Required to Be Considered) Applicants must submit all of the following: • Resume • Cover letter (required; applications without a cover letter will not be considered) • Professional references (Florida family law references required) Additional Information This position is intended for seasoned Florida family law paralegals who can independently review filings and ensure compliance before submission to the court.
