Senior Financial Planning Systems Analyst (Remote)

In this exciting role, you will be part of our Financial Planning Systems team, where you will utilize your mixed background in finance and IT to support and develop financial systems applications. You will act as an internal consultant to identify automation opportunities and provide suitable solutions to various groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and maintain the Hyperion planning application for forecast and actual financials
Validate data from Hyperion Financial Management and other sources
Investigate and resolve data issues, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions
Maintain system upkeep, client permissions, and support clients with system issues
Assist in preparing in-depth analysis and competitive industry studies on complex financial issues
Coordinate and complete monthly headcount processes in Hyperion
Update Hyperion Planning with organizational changes and integrate hierarchical system changes with Controllers and GL organization
Communicate with workgroups to determine reporting business requirements and propose efficient solutions
Create Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, and forecasting and planning models for Finance divisions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent experience/training
2+ years of work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial statements, financial modeling, and analysis
Strong IT background, including experience with Oracle and multidimensional and relational database structures
PREFERRED: Experience using Hyperion, as well as development and implementation experience (including Smart View, Essbase, Planning)
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to adapt and be flexible in the application of analytical techniques related to financial issues
Ability to issue solve, module, and analyze data
Meticulous with a focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong communication skills
Excellent collaboration skills with proven ability to work effectively in diverse situations
