APB is a global brand portfolio including Amazon Basics and Amazon Essentials, offering products that our customers love at great value across Hardlines, Consumables, and Softlines. The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, partnering with the Marketing and Discovery (M&D) team to deliver insights that directly influence senior leadership decisions. The role will also support analyzing investments and trade-offs during High Volume Events (HVEs) and develop reporting mechanisms that compare plan versus performance. APB’s rapid growth and unique model create an opportunity for a motivated professional to demonstrate their skills and make a significant impact. Key job responsibilities Support the core financial processes for the business, including annual operating plan, three-year strategic plan, and monthly and quarterly business reviews. Conduct comprehensive financial modelling including cost-benefit analysis, identifying and communicating key drivers to support marketing investment decisions. Design, automate, and iterate financial reporting frameworks that drive strategic decision-making Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to completion. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis Preferred Qualifications MBA, or CPA 3+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
