B2U’s patented energy storage systems are interconnected to the grid, selling energy and grid services into wholesale markets. B2U’s energy storage systems have been operational since 2020. B2U’s second grid connected energy storage system has been operational since November 2023. A third facility is now being converted from PV only to a hybrid storage facility. Overview Senior Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities Advanced Financial & Sell-Side Analysis: • Lead complex financial and sell-side analyses to support strategic initiatives, investment evaluation, and corporate decision-making. Financial Modeling & Forecasting: • Build, own, and enhance sophisticated financial models across corporate forecasting, project finance, and asset-level analysis, including scenario, sensitivity, and return analyses. Investor & Stakeholder Engagement: • Serve as a key analytical resource for investor-facing activities by preparing financial materials, participating in investor calls, and managing due diligence data requests and responses. Strategic & Operational Finance Support: • Partner closely with senior leadership to support fund and corporate operations, including budgeting, performance tracking, and ad hoc strategic analysis. Reporting & Executive Presentations: • Develop high-quality financial reports and executive-level presentations that clearly communicate complex financial insights to internal leadership and external stakeholders Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus). Experience • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, project finance, or a sell-side or transaction-oriented environment. • Experience in energy, infrastructure, or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) strongly preferred.
