Ā Hybrid Work Model: 3-4 days in the office, 1-2 days remote
### Responsibilities
In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
Ā Conducting thorough client consultations to assess needs in estate planning and elder law
Ā Drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
Ā Developing personalized estate plans based on individual client circumstances
Ā Providing legal guidance on elder law issues including Medicaid planning, long-term care, and guardianship
Ā Representing clients in probate and estate administration matters while ensuring compliance with Maryland laws
Ā Collaborating with a team of attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional service
Ā Staying informed on updates in Maryland estate planning, elder law, and probate regulations
### Qualifications and Skills
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
Ā Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Ā Active membership in the Maryland State Bar Association
Ā A minimum of 5 years' experience in an estate planning, probate, or elder law firm
Ā Experience in special needs planning and/or Medicaid planning is a plus
Ā Comprehensive knowledge of Maryland estate planning, elder law, and probate laws and regulations
Ā Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ā Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ā A client-focused, compassionate approach to legal practice
Ā A strong desire to contribute to the growth and success of the firm
