Position: Senior Environmental Consultant (CE Modeling / Analysis Focus) Location: New York Senior Environmental Consultant (CE Modeling / Analysis Focus) Summary of the Role: We are recruiting a Senior Consultant to support the growing portfolio of projects within our Circular Economy team. The successful candidate will lead on large scale systems modelling projects across a range of Circular Economy topic areas (examples of typical topics: EPR, DRS systems, re-use, refill, waste, recycling, infrastructure cost modelling, etc.). You will be involved in multiple projects at once and you will: • Work with technical leads and support more junior modelers to combine data and technical knowledge to interrogate environmental problems. • Help clients understand and apply the results of analytical work to their specific circumstances. • Provide technical input into the production of proposals to ensure that Eunomia offers deliverable services that meet clients’ needs and expectations. Key Requirements • We are looking for a Senior Consultant who has extensive previous involvement in Circular Economy Consulting projects working in a Consulting environment (could be an external Consultancy, or an internal Consultant in a Corporate / other setting). • You will have a strong technical understanding of circular economy from an operations or policy perspective and understand material management along with systems, programs and policy to create a circular economy. • You will have a track record of successful project delivery building structured models, and demonstrable experience of Circular Economy problems using large datasets. • You will have the ability to understand current system costs and performance to ensure analysis is robust. • You will be a creative problem solver, flexible and resilient, with the ability to get to grips with complex issues and the tenacity to apply your knowledge and experience to develop solutions. • Ability to present complex modelling approaches and outcomes to a range of client and stakeholder types with varying levels of understanding.
