One component is our “sensor” which is installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon Host cloud. The cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer’s network, can correlate malicious behavior across multiple machines, and presents our customers with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments. About the Role: Our team within Sensor Foundations is responsible for maintaining the health of the Sensor main branch through continuous monitoring, triage, and reversion of problematic pull requests. When main branch health is compromised, we manage merge closures to prevent further issues while working to restore stability. We develop and maintain automation tools that streamline our processes, reducing manual triage efforts and improving overall efficiency in maintaining sensor code quality. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
