TEAM Join the Stargate Platform Security Team to secure Woven and Toyota's Developer Platform and provide platform-wide security services. Stargate is Toyota's pioneering global development and collaboration platform designed for efficiency and productivity. It integrates essential tools such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jama, and Artifactory, along with a multi-cloud Kubernetes platform, to streamline collaboration across Toyota and its partners. Stargate supports multiple languages and allows quick creation of project workspaces with enhanced access controls for intellectual property protection. Join us at Woven by Toyota to innovate in automotive software development within dynamic, cutting-edge environments. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team. Prior security experience is not required. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong engineering/development background and hands-on experience managing Company-wide platforms and services, such as Development tools, Kubernetes, or Cloud. This role offers the opportunity to continue engineering work within a security context and allows for specialization in areas of interest, such as Development tools, Kubernetes, or Cloud, while also gaining experience in overall platform security. This is a hybrid role, requiring several days per week onsite, reporting directly to a Senior Engineering Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES • Designing, delivering, and supporting Platform Developer tools and Cloud and Kubernetes resources together with other platform engineering teams • Maintain and implement security solutions for Cloud, Kubernetes, Identity Provider, and developer tools, such as a Platform Privileged Access Management program and secret scanning solution, to scale efforts across the platforms • Implementing security into developers' paved roads • Taking ownership and maintaining the Platform Security Architecture • Defining and implementing Platform configuration standards • Promoting a "shift-left" and security-first mindset across engineering and product teams to ensure Platform features are sound from an engineering and security perspective > MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 7+ years of relevant engineering or development experience • Proficient in Python or Golang, Terraform and Bash/Powershell • Skilled in managing enterprise-wide developer tools like GitHub, Artifactory, and Jira • Business-level English language skills > NICE TO HAVES • 2+ years of experience managing enterprise-wide AWS, GCP, Azure or Kubernetes • Skilled in securing production systems > Important Points • All interviews will be arranged via Google Meet, unless otherwise stated. • The same job descriptions are available in both English and Japanese; therefore, we kindly ask that you apply to only one version. • We kindly request that you submit your resume in English, if possible.
