DUTIES: Design, develop and maintain site search applications for consumer and business; perform analysis, write program specifications and develop designs for projects; enable disambiguation proposal and guided navigation for Search; create algorithm based search results... create Maven build file to build the application and deploy it on WebSphere Application Server; developed Natural Language Processing (NLP) model to identified sales vs support contents; create question answer model to assisted troubleshooting; use Spark to build and enhance Machine Learning (ML) technology for search; create dashboard in Grafana and site catalyst to enhance sales matrices, CTR, CIR, data Relevancy tuning to optimize search result; create AnswerBox for helping customer to find right intent at one click and reduce CIR; create ML model to boost search result using click through signal; follow the search area subject matter expert (SME) guidance; follow the industry trends in the Search and Store Locator areas and provide recommendations for future enhancements; develop solutions and make decisions that impact success of projects; work with a team to implement small-to-medium size projects and provide guidance for project planning and configuration; coordinate development activities and ensure timely delivery of modules to business with good quality and report project status to the management; monitor applications, resolve any problems as well as work to proactively prevent problems from occurring; perform systems capacity monitoring and planning.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software/Systems Engineer, Software Developer or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 2 years performing Search application development using Solr search engine. In lieu of a Masters degree and 2 years of experience, employer will accept a Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the above. Experience therein to include 1 year using JavaScript, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Agile for Scrum. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
