Position: Senior Director, Risk Management
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Risk Management to join our team at American Express. As a Senior Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies and risk management solutions using advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Driving the analysis and interpretation of complex data to inform business decisions
Collaborating with technology and other teams to implement risk management approaches and business strategies
Identifying and evaluating new data sources to drive business growth and improvement
Developing and implementing process improvements and automation using optimization algorithms and models
Communicating complex analysis to technical and non-technical audiences
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Econometrics, Business Administration, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in risk analysis and data analysis to drive business strategy
Experience with SQL query development, database architectures, and data manipulation languages, including SQL and SAS
Proficiency in Cognos, ETL tools, Python, R, Tableau, Teradata, MS Excel, and VBA
