Senior Director, Business Marketing

Summary The Sr. Director, Business Marketing is responsible for building and executing Yelp’s Mid-Market, Enterprise, and Agency Partner growth marketing program. This includes hiring, developing, and coaching a high-performing team of marketers capable of working across multiple verticals, audience sizes, and supporting pipeline generation for media and advertising products. This person is an expert in building demand generation, growth marketing, and/or ABM programs that generate direct pipeline for sales teams using modern marketing tactics and technology. They’re customer-first, as comfortable with sales and product leadership as marketing, and have multiple examples where they’ve built teams, channels, budget, and measurement strategies that have directly produced new logo growth for Mid-Market and Enterprise audiences. They will own an annual budget and be responsible for assigning resources towards channels, field marketing, verticals, and partnerships based on measurable performance and company goals. They will be responsible for creating and reporting against marketing’s pipeline generation and revenue performance. They should have the ability to impact cross-functional initiatives and work with Sales, Product, RevOps, BizOps, and executive leadership. This role will report to the VP, Business Marketing. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States. What you'll do: • Hire, coach, and manage a team of growth marketers, channel owners, field marketers, and campaign developers with the goal of building marketing programs that generate Mid-Market and Enterprise sales opportunities. • Build the overarching strategy for how Yelp’s Mid-Market and Enterprise growth marketing program will generate sales opportunities including channel selection, technology investments, campaign cadence, messaging, sales partnership, budget allocation, and account targeting prioritization. • Develop and lead a process to launch integrated, multi-channel campaigns with Yelp’s latest, best product and innovation messaging on available channels to generate opportunities from accounts not responding to sales activity • Work with cross-functional leadership in Sales, Product, RevOps, and BizOps to create a fast opportunity handoff and SLA process, tell the best story, and measure the impact on the business • Own budget development and resource allocation including agency management, FP&A partnerships, monthly spend reporting, spend optimization, and building cases for new investment opportunities • Build reporting views and cadence to tell a real-time story of the impact of the program on Sales and the Mid-Market and Enterprise Yelp Advertising business down to revenue whenever possible • Present learnings and program impact to leadership in an effort to build transparently and make other GTM teams more effective What it takes to succeed: • 8+ years of experience in a similar Mid-Market and/or Enterprise Demand Generation or GrowthMarketing leadership role; ideally in a media or SaaS environment. • Deep expertise in modern Demand Generation tactics and technology including but not limited to signal-based marketing, high-volume automation, and AI workflows. • Experience hiring and managing great talent across multiple forms of marketing expertise.Strong business and product intuition, and the ability to synthesize metrics and trends into clear recommendations. • Experience with experiment design, A/B testing, and rapid test iteration. • Excellent communicator, verbal and written. Skilled at translating complex analyses into actionable insights for all audiences. • Intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to stay ahead on AI, analytics trends, and evolving marketing technology. • Organized thinking and clear leadership principles that help teams build and adapt quickly. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.
